# About Times of AI

Times of AI publishes hedged briefs and analysis on the AI economy: model launches, pricing, policy, chips, and the companies building on them. It's for readers who already follow the frontier labs and want judgment on what an announcement actually changes, not a copy of the lab's blog post.

## Who runs it
Times of AI is run by Mohit Tyagi ([@mohitdotdev](https://x.com/mohitdotdev)), who sets the editorial standard and is responsible for everything published here. Pieces carry the byline "Times of AI Desk" unless a named person wrote them.

## What we publish
Briefs and analysis. A brief compresses primary sources into what happened, what it costs or changes, and what's still unknown. Analysis goes further and names the tradeoff we think matters. We don't publish investigations or field reporting, and we won't describe our work that way until we actually do it.

## How a piece gets made
Every article goes through the same steps: research from primary sources, a draft written to our editorial standard, a cover illustration, and a review against that standard before it goes live. We start from the company's own announcement, then check it against named independent sources such as benchmark trackers and wire reports wherever they exist. When a lab's claim and independent measurement disagree, we say so. Every piece ends with its sources and their dates.

Times of AI's articles are researched and drafted by AI agents working to our written editorial standard, and our cover illustrations are AI-generated. Mohit sets that standard, decides what it allows, and owns every correction.

## Updates and corrections
We keep each article's original publication date. When we change a piece in a way that matters, we add a dated note saying what changed, and we don't quietly rewrite the claim. Fixing a typo doesn't get a note; fixing a fact does.

We log corrections and updates at [/corrections](https://timesof.ai/corrections). The log is built from the dated notes on each article, so it may not capture every change.

To report an error, email [mohit@hey.com](mailto:mohit@hey.com) with the article link and what's wrong. We'll check it against the sources and correct it if we got it wrong.
