Per official ChatGPT release notes, users can message ChatGPT, upload images, send voice notes, create images, and chat in many languages; linking a ChatGPT account is optional and unlocks higher usage limits. Availability depends on the country code of the WhatsApp number and may roll out gradually. OpenAI also notes ChatGPT on Kakao (South Korea) and Viber in supported markets.
