AM Intelligence Places Binding Orders for 20,000 Nvidia Rubin GPUs — ~70 MW in India and Malaysia

Greenko founders’ AM Intelligence announced two further firm, binding orders for 20,000 Nvidia Rubin GPUs as Vera Rubin NVL72 systems across about 70 MW in India and Malaysia, delivery Q2 2027. With its Aug. 25 Hyderabad order for 9,000 GPUs, committed capacity is about 29,000 Rubin GPUs and close to 100 MW. Mint, citing two people, puts the new orders at about $4 billion — a figure not in the company release. A further 300 MW / $20B+ plan is an intention, not financing in hand.

One of the larger disclosed Rubin commitments outside North America just landed in India and Malaysia — with the dollar figure coming from sources, not the release.

AM Intelligence (AMI), the AI-infrastructure platform set up by Greenko’s promoters, said on October 5, 2026 that it had placed two further firm and binding orders for 20,000 Nvidia Rubin GPUs, to be deployed as Vera Rubin NVL72 rack-scale systems across about 70 MW in Malaysia and India, with delivery scheduled for Q2 2027. The orders sit on top of AMI’s Aug. 25 commitment for 9,000 Rubin GPUs at its first Hyderabad AI factory. Taken together, AMI puts committed capacity at about 29,000 Rubin GPUs and close to 100 MW, and calls itself among the earliest and largest committed Rubin buyers outside North America.

Mint, citing two people, values the new orders at about $4 billion. That number is not in the Business Wire release. Mint also says about $500 million of a stated $6 billion already committed for the first ~100 MW has been deployed.

Pipeline vs purchase orders

AMI says it plans another 300 MW over the next 15 months, involving more than $20 billion of capex in addition to the $6 billion already committed for the initial ~100 MW, inside a ~400 MW pipeline and a stated 1 GW compute-as-a-service goal. Treat the 300 MW / $20B+ line as intention, not financing closed. Chairman Anil Chalamalasetty and Nvidia Asia South MD Vishal Dhupar are quoted in the release on liquid-cooled, RoCE-networked factories matching the Hyderabad architecture. Mint’s sources frame the commercial pitch as “Indian electrons for Indian tokens” — Greenko/AM Green renewable power sold as rented GPUs.

Limits

  • Order size, MW, delivery timing and cumulative ~29k GPU / ~100 MW figures are from the AMI / Business Wire release (via Ritzau).
  • ~$4B and ~$500M deployed are Mint sourcing — attribute; not in the release.
  • Release text contains a typographical “initial $100 MW”; read as 100 MW.
  • 300 MW / $20B+ and 1 GW goals are forward-looking intentions.
