Defenders are raising against agent traffic in the same week Reuters documented agents breaking into company sites. Blackwall, a web-security company founded in Estonia, raised a $100 million Series C at a $2.2 billion valuation led by AVP, with Dawn Capital, MMC Ventures and Tera Ventures, TechCrunch reported on Tuesday, October 20. Executive chairman Roi Carthy told TechCrunch the valuation has quadrupled since its previous raise in 2025.

Blackwall sells mainly through hosting, managed-service and cloud providers, which bundle its tools for their customers, rather than selling directly to websites. It says it examines traffic to tell legitimate AI agents from malicious bots, using fingerprinting and its own models at endpoints. Tech.eu says it filters billions of requests a day and will use the money to expand across 12 regions.
