Labelbox is raising into agents and the environments that train them — on its own announcement alone. Founder Manu Sharma wrote on October 14 that the company had raised more than $100 million in Series E financing, including equity and a credit facility, at a $1.25 billion pre-money valuation. Infinitum Partners led, with participation from Wipro Ventures, a16z, B Capital, Tau Ventures, Snowpoint Ventures and others. How much of the round is equity versus credit was not disclosed. No independent wire covering the round was found for this article.

What Labelbox says the money is for

Sharma describes three product chapters. The first was data tools for post-training. The second is Horizon, reinforcement-learning environments for frontier labs; Labelbox says it now works with 90% of the leading frontier AI labs and hyperscalers. The third is Recursion Managed Agents, which the company says it opened to customers last week after running more than 50 internal agents across its own functions.

With the financing, Labelbox says it plans more research and engineering behind Horizon and Recursion. Sharma writes that Labelbox reached profitability this year while growing more than 5× year over year. He also notes that Infinitum’s John Yetimoglu was an early investor in Groq and is involved in building large-scale compute infrastructure at GroqCloud.
