Claude Memory Hits Free Tier — Sticky Context Without the Sub

Anthropic Claude Help Center release notes (March 2): “Memory from chat history is now available for all Claude users, including free users.” Previously limited to Pro, Max, Team, Enterprise. Free accounts get the capability immediately with plan-appropriate rate and capacity limits. System generates memory summaries from conversation history and surfaces them when relevant. Users can view, edit, or delete individual memories in Settings; chat search helps surface past context. Limits
- Memory summaries can be wrong or over-sticky; user must prune.
