Grok Bot on Plus and Cursor Pro+ — Persistent Teammates as Default Coding Extra

xAI expanded Grok Bot from the August 11 Heavy/Ultra/Teams Premium beta to SuperGrok Plus, Cursor Pro+, Cursor Ultra, and all Cursor Teams plans. Enterprise remains on a waitlist. Same product line as the beta, new seat map — how xAI tries to make persistent teammates the default coding-plan extra, not a Heavy novelty.

Ten days of Heavy-only beta is a short exclusive. Putting Bot on Plus and Cursor Pro+ is how xAI tries to make persistent teammates the default coding-plan extra, not a SuperGrok Heavy novelty.

xAI said Grok Bot is now included with SuperGrok Plus, SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Pro+, Cursor Ultra, and Cursor Teams (Standard and Premium). The August 11 early beta was Heavy / Cursor Ultra / Teams Premium. This is a plan-entitlement expansion, not a new agent architecture. Enterprise stays on a waitlist. macOS download: Grok Bot 0.24.0.

What shipped

Item Detail (x.ai/news primary)
New seats SuperGrok Plus; Cursor Pro+; Cursor Teams Standard (Premium already had it)
Unchanged Always-on cloud computer, browser + terminal, group-chat multi-bots, approval-gated sends
Enterprise Waitlist / Cursor sales

Jobs listed (sales prospector, website builder, inbox manager, meeting stand-in, refunds) are the same teammate pitch as Aug 11.

Not Grok Bot beta launch (Aug 11), not Grok 4.6 (Aug 12), not Grok Build web/mobile (Aug 19). Analogous to ChatGPT Business Premium seats (Aug 10): same product, new SKU map.

Limits

  • Enterprise remains waitlisted (GA path arrives Sep 3).
  • Whether Plus bots are rate-limited into a demo is not published here.
  • Cursor cannibalizing its own agent is an open commercial question.
