In China, a growing share of AI-infrastructure money is going to software that gets mismatched chips to work together. Shanghai-based Infinigence AI has completed a RMB 2.3 billion Series C, taking cumulative funding to RMB 4.3 billion, according to company materials provided to TechNode on October 12.

What it does

Founded in 2023, Infinigence builds software that lets models train and run across different chip platforms. TechNode says its platform connects 37,000 petaflops of computing capacity across 16 mainstream chip types and supports mixed-chip training using both Chinese and international processors. It also sells model inference services and infrastructure for enterprise AI agents, with customers in gaming, healthcare, legal services and energy.

The company's own figures: daily token usage on its model-service platform rose 40-fold from December 2025 to July, and its cross-cluster inference setup cut time-to-first-token by 51.5% and cost per token by 37.5%.

What AI Weekly adds

AI Weekly lists Tencent, Baidu, Lenovo, Sequoia China, Qiming and Shunwei among the backers, puts the round at about $344 million, calls it a China AI-infrastructure fundraising record, and says Infinigence confidentially filed for a Hong Kong IPO earlier in October targeting a first-half 2027 listing. TechNode does not report those points, and we have not verified the IPO filing.
